SamTech Middle East providing state-of-the-art technology to track and time the ultra-runners

SamTech the official Technology Partner for the Meraas Al Marmoom Ultramarathon, is providing state-of-the-art technology to track & time the runners and also providing smart applications for the participants, organizers and general public. The tracking devices, worn by each participant, provide an SOS button that will alert first responders in case of emergencies. The race organizers will also be notified immediately if runners deviate from the route.

By using the smart applications, public users will be able to track the runners in real time. They can download “Ultra Marathon” mobile app from the Google Play or App Store and start tracking competitors. Users will be provided up to date information about the runners including location, distance and current race position.
